  Augustus is an intimate and privately owned establishment that is head and shoulders above the various chain restaurants that otherwise litter Taunton.
  
  Great service and quality fresh ingredients used to make the dishes result in a superior dining experience. Prices are reasonable too for the quality of food and service on offer.
  
  There is a reason you need to reserve two months in advance to get a table on a Fri/Sat evening here, the local foodies know it's a great place to eat out.

  Easily the best restaurant in Taunton.
  We visited as a large group and had stunning food with fantastic service. It was an absolute pleasure to have our three courses in great company, at an excellent price.
  Strongly recommended, we will be back!! I travelled from Plymouth, other guests from as far as Brighton and the Isle of Man.
