- 3 / 5By Steve 'THE FLUB'Didn't enjoy my stay here. Bed was uncomfortable and I had a poor night sleep. We were given a room in an annex and we felt isolated. Only one member of staff. Saying that, the food was excellent and so was the staff. This is an expensive place. It has limited parking.April 16, 2017
- 4 / 5By John AbbottLovely Victorian hotel, walking distance to town centre. Downstairs, the bar and restaurant have recently been refurbished and are very pleasant spaces to spend time in. My room was a compact double, luckily I was omy own because two people would have got on each others way. No room for a bedside table. Very comfy bed, decent TV, iron and board, hairdryer, fridge, minibar with proper wineglasses. My full English breakfast was very good, decent quality sausages and bacon, coffee that tasted of coffee. Car park is an issue for some, but I got my largish estate in and out easily enough. Overall I was pleased and would return.February 03, 2017
