  Arrived as a walk in customer with my kids. Very busy but advised 15 minute wait. No worries. Got a drink from the bar and waited. 15 minutes was about right waiting,shown to table. Ordered food. Fantastic steak as part of my mixed grill. I like it between blue and rare this was spot on. Kids had a veggie burger and southern fried chicken burger. Spot on also. Great desserts. As always. Served by Max who was very personable made just the right amount of conversation. He deserved his tip and a pat on back from management for a job well done. And we'll done chef for my steak.

  Excellent food for a very reasonable price. Very happy, friendly and helpful staff. Ideal place to take children and they also accommodate wheelchairs easily. We often choose The Griffin if we want to go out for a nice, enjoyable meal. I'd definitely recommend it.
